Why alumina our products?

  • It is a safe coating of the nanoparticles. This way they are too big to be absorbed into the skin. The coating also protects you against the possible risks of nanoparticles.
  • Caution: Alumina (Al2O3) is not aluminum (AL) and can be safely used in natural cosmetics. There are no cancer risks or health rumors for alumina. It is a different aluminum compound than the compound that is often negatively discussed (aluminum chlorohydrate, that can be found in a lot of deodorants). This aluminium compound does not belong in cosmetics.

  • Environmental Labor Group, a critical American organization, has studied 400 studies about mineral filters in sunscreen, found that sunscreens with titanium dioxide (nano) are one of the safest and most effective sunscreens there are. They even claim that titanium dioxide without nanoparticles does not actually exist.
